Winter 2025/26 HIFC Program Overview



Registration for Winter Futsal opens December 15th!

Winter Season Details
Ages 4-18 (Kindergarten - 12th Grade) of all skill levels
Program Start Date: January 10th, 2026
7 week soccer program with Saturday sessions (1 per week) with skills training and small sided games.

Registration Dates and Pricing
Early Bird registration starting 12/15/25 - $15 (plus $25 AYSO fee-$40 total)
Regular registration 1/1/26 - $25 (plus $25 AYSO fee-$50 total)
Late registration 1/07/26 - $35 (plus $25 AYSO fee-$60 total)

Spring Soccer (K- 3rd Graders)

Program Description for K–3rd Grade (Co-ed)
This program focuses on ball mastery and fundamental skill development, with an emphasis on applying these movements in live gameplay. Training sessions will place a strong emphasis on 1v1 play, coordination, and building confidence with the ball.
While this age group will not participate in sand sessions for the Cape Hatteras Sand Soccer Showdown, the final day of the program—Friday, May 8th—will serve as their “Grand Finale,” and will emphasize fun competition, and applying what they have learned throughout the program.

Multiple Sibling Discounts: $10 off for each additional sibling in this age group.

Spring Soccer (5th-8th Graders)

Program Description for 4th Grade
Fourth grade represents an important developmental stage in soccer. At this age, some players make rapid strides in their development while others may benefit from additional time focusing on foundational skills.
At HIFC, our priority is placing each child in the environment that will best support their growth as a player. For this reason, some 4th grade players may be placed in the 5th grade program, while others may participate in the K–3 program. Placement decisions will be made by the club based on factors we believe are most important for each player’s development.

Program Description for 5th–8th Grade Girls
Players in this program will practice at the same time as the high school varsity girls team, which is currently off to a strong start with a winning record. During the first portion of practice, participants will train alongside the varsity players, focusing on technical skill development. The group will then break off into their own age group for more focused instruction and training.
In addition, players will participate in Sunday beach training sessions leading up to the Cape Hatteras Sand Soccer Tournament. Teams for the tournament will be formed from this age group.
All 5th–8th grade girls will also have the opportunity to participate in a varsity girls home game experience, including a starting lineup walkout and a halftime “Future Stars” scrimmage.

Program Description for 5th–8th Grade Boys
This program will focus on ball mastery, building a strong technical foundation, and developing the skills necessary for higher-level play. Grass training sessions will emphasize soccer fluency, decision-making, and individual technical development.
Sunday sessions will take place on the beach as players prepare for the Cape Hatteras Sand Soccer Tournament. Program fees include player entry into the Cape Hatteras Sand Soccer Showdown. Teams for the tournament will be formed from this age group as the event approaches.

Multiple Sibling Discounts: $15 off for each additional sibling in this age group.
